Day 5

Welcome to day 5!

Today we will add 30 seconds to our Breath of Fire practice. Remember that if you are finding it difficult: go at your own pace. Try your best, however, if it is too challenging you can always replace it with the Four Stroke Breath from the second day.

We will also explore the effect of Sitali Breath. This breath is done by curling the tongue, sticking it out and inhaling slowly and deeply through the tongue, then closing the mouth and exhaling through the nose.

Sitali Breath - Cools the body, improves digestion, calms the nervous system, reduces stress, relaxes the mind and body, improves sleep.
