Day 4

Welcome to day 4!

Today we will continue to work on our Breath of Fire practice. If you are finding it difficult; take a few minutes out of your day to slowly practice the technique and then start to speed it up when you feel comfortable.

We will also explore the use of Right Nostril Breathing. To do this breath you block off the left nostril with the left thumb and inhale and exhale deeply and powerfully through the right nostril.

Right Nostril Breathing - Stimulates the sympathetic nervous system, improves lung function, focuses the mind, wakes the body up and get its ready for action.


Breath Awareness

During our practice we do lots of strong intentional breaths which we use to change the way we feel physically, mentally and emotionally. Breath awareness is the opposite of these techniques, but it is the perfect accompaniment to them. Watch the video below for more information.
