Day 3
Welcome to day 3!
Today we are going to do a body scan. To do this we will slowly scan through the body, feeling the sensations of the muscles and skin.
This meditation heightens awareness, quietens the mind, relaxes the body and improves quality of sleep.
The Parasympathetic nervous system
Each meditation throughout the course helps to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, when activated the parasympathetic nervous system brings the body into rest and relaxation.
