Day 2

Welcome to day 2!

Today we will continue to work on our Breath of Fire practice and the powerful breath that we did yesterday. Remember if you are finding either of these breaths too intense you can always do long deep breathing or the Four Stroke Breath that we did on the second day of the beginner’s course.

We will also revisit Alternate Nostril Breathing.

Alternate Nostril Breathing

Alternate Nostril Breathing stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system bringing the body into rest and relaxation. When this happens the heart rate slows down which allows the body's natural processes to take place more effectively such as healing and digestion.
