Breathe and Flow - Beginner’s Meditation course
This course is for anyone who is new to or who has ever struggled with meditation.
Meditation is cleaning the mind. Just like you wash your body every day, it is important to do the same for your subconscious mind. By taking just 5-20 minutes each day to breathe and be still you are setting yourself up for fewer negative thought patterns, clearer thinking, increased productivity, better relationships, a reduction in bad habits, more energy, enhanced confidence and better sleep.
This course is for complete beginners. Each day you will receive a 20 minute video, so that at the end of 14 days you will have a solid 20 minute practice that you will feel confident with.
You will learn how to calm the nervous system through breath, how to clear and focus the mind, how to breathe for better sleep, how to use your breath to energise the body and how to be present and sit with what is.

Alternate Nostril Breathing
We will explore this breath throughout the course. This technique stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system slowing down the heart rate, reducing stress levels and putting the body into a deep state of relaxation.
Breath of Fire
We will work on this breath throughout the course, slowly building up our practice. This technique energises, heats and stimulates the body. It is great to do first thing in the morning as a natural caffeine hit!
Breath Awareness
At the beginning of each meditation we will spend 5 minutes becoming aware of the body. Bringing attention to the breath, sensing the air as it moves through the nostrils, feeling the movement of the chest and bringing awareness to the expansion of the lungs. This practice brings us into the present moment and helps us to get in touch with how we are feeling.
